The Gipper is up there talking about how fragile freedom is while we see a montage of graves at Arlington Cemetery, the Iwo Jima memorial statues, and the Jefferson Memorial. Was GND3 the turning point for the series? Will we finally go in a direction that might actually ask questions instead of insufferable grandstanding? All I know is that after four hours of “Christians have it so hard in America!” it was pretty refreshing to see the series actually go, “Huh… Maybe WE’RE being dicks.” I don’t know if there’s ever going to be an in-depth documentary about the behind-the-scenes on this series, or if any intrepid reporter will ever track down Michael Mason to ask him what the hell happened. You may recall that, after two standard morally and philosophically bankrupt movies, something went horribly wrong with God’s Not Dead 3 and, somehow, that movie wound up kind of acknowledging the series’ past sins and failings.

White has returned with a new installment of the epic God’s Not Dead saga. In simplest terms, I got no beef with the Jeez, but if I ever meet David A.R. If it's an attack at all, it is an attack on bad filmmaking, dangerous rhetoric, stagnant philosophy, and toxic evangelism. Disclaimer: As usual, I would like to start the thread by saying that this summary/review is in no way an attack on anyone's specific faith.
